Zipline Tour in the Oceanfront Chiclé Forest: What to Expect in Jacó

14 zipline platforms among primary-growth chicozapote trees with Pacific views. Prices, duration, schedules and tips for your adventure in Jacó, Costa Rica.

Flying over a primary chicozapote forest, with the ocean ahead

Few experiences combine two icons of Costa Rica in a single ride: a primary-growth forest of chiclé trees (chicozapote) and open views over the Pacific Ocean. Our zipline tour in Jacó does exactly that: 14 platforms and 14 cable lines suspended among the tallest trees in the region, in a forest that touches the ocean shore along Route 34 Costanera Sur.

What is the route like?

  • 14 platforms connected by lines of different length and speed.
  • Pacific views from almost every platform: in the final stretches the ocean opens up right in front of you.
  • Certified guides at every platform, with full-body harness and assisted braking system.
  • Approximate duration: 2 hours, including the safety briefing, practice on the first platform and internal transfers between stations.

No previous experience needed. The first platform works as a practice line, and guides accompany you throughout the whole route.
